Agreed, but you do get pristine looking scarless Lions, that win online awards everywhere...The real ones in the bush are scarred and battered, thus not photogenic in Joe Public's eyes...

Pears from my neighbours tree. I left them outside on a bench while we went out and our two dogs decided to help themselves. They ate around twelve. |

Well, Kruger National Park is a PARK, and not a zoo :-) These poor beasts who are designed to live in hundreds of square miles roam the same 1,000 sf all day, every day. One of the biggest challenges for zookeepers is to prevent that destructive depression and madness that threatens the larger species.
But yeah, they sure make pretty pictures.
Here's one more from the collection before I leave to play a photographer in a film:

All these lovely overlay pictures got me remembering what fun it is to do them.
Was it this thread started by joynim that started it all?

August 8. Went to the local zoo looking for baby animals.
Too early.

Was going to submit one of these for Over/Under challenge: "Under Scrutiny"
