| So I have a silly etiquette question: I am SO loving all the feedback, and feel compelled to respond to everyone, but I can't keep up!!!! Is it ok to do a general thank you now and then here, or on the photo page? I told you it was silly.... |

just do as many comments as you can johanna and no more .. i think its a lot better to comment on the individual photos rather than a general one .. sometimes when there are so many ppl in a side challenge i just comment on one page in the thread per day .. i'm trying to comment on everyone's here tho coz i started it .. silly me .. !! ...

i hopeing will be posting some pics whether tonight(or today where ever you are in the world) or tomorrow... having some tech difficulties. PS wont read my RAW files at the moment... Has any one else had this issue before? My file is a CR2 file... trying to download an update for PS right now though...

The latest Camera Raw update might fix your problem Sofia. I've just upgraded my 400d to a 40d and found that CS2 can't open 40d RAW files.
I've had to download Adobe DNG Converter to convert my RAW to DNG before I can work on them in CS2. Very frustrating! |

that is whar me and  smardaz are trying to do... but it just isnt working on my laptop. we're trying it on a PC now... hopefully that will work and we can fix my laptop so that i can edit photos this weekend from the beach at Seaside, OR. (wonderful place) =/ |

me too .. to keep up with this one you need to turn off the phone, cancel all appointments, quit your job, alienate your family and friends, starve yourself, your children and the animals coz you dont have time to make food let alone walk to the kitchen, forget about hygiene, let your house become like a pigsty, allow your body to get all weak and floppy thru lack of exercise .. the list goes on but i havent got time to think of any more coz i have to make another 1000 comments .. !! ...

.... and take a breath, and take i easy. maybe u got to come up with code manual for comments something like
1 for - nice composition and technically so correct
2 for I like your perspective in this shot
3 for I think you screwed up on everything so better luck next time

The theme of my side challenge for at least some of this month is going to be Friends and the City - I'm leaving Rome tomorrow to try to get a real job back in the UK. I feel like creating a little tribute to all the wonderful people I know here and how they all fit into this incredible environment and my life. I'll probably be re-visiting a lot of shots from my time here so I apologize if some of the shots are somewhat familiar, I'll try to enter only new stuff where possible though.

i only have a minute to upload but will leave some comments today.
this is me seconds after wiping out (thankfully in the bushes, 30 feet later i'd have been in the gulf of mexico)....drunk driving my bike back to the campground in key west this past weekend. note, very proud my cigar stayed lit.
