Just a little off topic,, I've been invited to exhibit a piece of my glass at a small regional exhibition.

I did take the photo of my piece, so this isn't totally off topic!

Congrats - I really like that bowl too. Some amazing colours in your work. Some of the other pieces look really good too.

As a complete aside - is that the most repulsive way they could find to put together the web page ? :)

No kidding, it has to be one of the worst web sites going.
The curatorial assistant did it and he's not, well let's just say,, a pro!

Thanks. It is my day job.

I've been mostly doing commission work the last few years. Plus very tiny things used for jewelry which are sold at gem/jewelry shows.

I used to do a circuit with the Amercian Craft Council and other independent Juried shows such as the Fiesta Arts Fair here in SA, Luna Gloria in Austin, Westheimer in Houston and quite a few more around the states.

Since my health has deteriorated I can't travel like I used to, so I now work with interior designers on custom pieces. And one of these days I'll get back to redoing my website so I can sell off there again... which actually had been going fairly good up to 9/11 when folks stopped buying mid to high end art.

The bowl in the exhibition is priced at $2200...... My larger work sells for up to $6500 for the large composit pieces that go on the wall.

thanks for asking!
