I think we should include some way for the original image to be found... such as an image_id number.
Some, even though they're in the challenges, are not able to be located by only their title and it may appear that we've just entered a random something and titled it another random something. |

BTW, I was having some fun reading your monologue about Alamy. Encouraged myself to send the first batch now. I did not send any batches before because somehow I thought the images should be necessarily exclusive to Alamy and most of my perfect quality photos are already on Shutterstock. |

Well, I have to say that this place is pretty much the perfect training ground for sites like Alamy. A few years ago, had I even known what Alamy was, I would have been wayyy too daunted to even consider trying to submit images. But now that I have an-almost critique-proof hide like a frickin rhino, thanks to entering so many challenges...well, Alamy still isn't a walk in the park. But again pay very close attention to that list of criteria. And if you don't know how to do something, feel free to post a thread. I was having issues with very dense black areas as I was shooting a tricky, moving b/w subject at a high ISO to ensure a sharp image. So I was getting crushed black areas, which Alamy Does Not Like (#11 on their list of reasons to reject an image). I started a thread, posted some examples, eh wala, the wonderful members here came to my rescue :-)

As a voter, yep. I'll search for the title and if I can't find it and confirm it is a copy of someones first entry then DNMC - having said that I can't find my first entry by searching for it by title so I guess I'll DNMC a few shots where DPC's search page is at fault :( |

I put the link to the original image after the title, and since we can reproduce other user's images, then we continue anonymous during voting, right?
