onOne has a mack-daddy sale going on right now... Ends Wednesday, the 30th.
Genuine Fractals 6 (Pro)
PhotoTools 2.5 (Pro)
PhotoFrame 4.5 (Pro)
FocalPoint 2
PhotoTune 3
Mask Pro 4
$100 each. (Well, $99.95 each, whatever).
If you didn't get the mailer and/or can't find it online, PM me and I'll bounce you the coupon info.
Ordering Genuine Fractals for myself riiiiiche now. Don't have much of an interest in the others, but I've been itching to have GF for a long time.

| Bump for the morning crowd. Anyone interested in this, or is this old news? I was surprised at the sale price, but I haven't been watching prices on onOne's stuff very long. Only sale I saw before this one was the conference deals they had for PSW, and their sales guy at the booth was far too pushy to deal with. My GF 6 is in the mail (I just had to go with the pretty boxed version...). ;) |

| I saw the sale, and picked up the free versions of PhotoFrame and PhotoTools. I kinda sorta like PhotoTools, but many of the effects I also know how to do in straight PS so I find I don't use it as much as I thought I would. |

Yeah, the PhotoTools looked a little "gimmicky" to me -- really just looks like a somewhat glorified interface to a bunch of presets, most of which are so simple they just seem like clutter.
How do you like the PhotoFrame software? I'm not big on the whole digital frame "thing," I think. |

| I did the free trial of the photoframes, and liked it, but not enough to pay 100 bucks for it. I've tried to get the free ones to work, but can't get them to work. |

Totally agree with you on the PhotoTools being gimmicky.
I didn't really like the PhotoFrame software because I don't bother to put frames around my shots and rarely bother with even a border. I got it because it was, well, free. And someday I might like to use the film strip border in a triptych or something, but that's about it.
Anyone who is into digital scrapbooking would probably love the PhotoFrame layouts, and should probably pony up for the full version.
Kelli, try hitting "Add to Stack" to apply the effect to your picture. |
