Not scoring well in comparison to most in this thread but I'm very happy. Some lovely comments including a helpful critism. But a Favorite!! It's a great feeling getting one of those isn't it? :-)

What upward movement? Heh - in the interest of setting a good example - you should share. . . I want upward movement too!

Honestly, with so many snapshot type images, I don't have a lot to say. :(

Well, given the subject and that it is a speed challenge, that is to be expected. I know you don't like to be negative, but I wouldn't object to your honest opinion.

Mine's nothing to write home about, but not getting creamed either.

well maybe comment on them and let people know what you think/feel about the composition/lighting- and future suggestions (ie: a closer crop would have helped this image immensely; adjustment levels would make this photo really pop; perhaps overall black and white with no touch of color would aid this image better and be less distracting to my eye?; I would really like to see this image with more depth in tonal range; etc....) :-) i'm gonna -try- to comment as much as I can on the images; i see a lot of potential in a lot of the photos submitted that are kind of 'snapshotty' but still see a lot of room for improvement; i recieved a comment on mine about a portion being blown out- and it was helpful because its not something i saw/or thought of when looking at my pic-- more comments like that are useful for my learning experience- otherwise; how can I possibly improve? and there are a few whites blown out here and there amid the challenge that either aid or detract from the photo :-) but sometimes...the photographer doesnt see it till someone says 'hay by the way...look here...this could be fixed...' :-)

		| | Just wrapped up commenting on quite a few. I tried to offer a constructive differing view - that although may not have improved the shot, it provided another way of viewing it - which I have always found to be helpful. I love it when someone offers a different set of "eyes" to my shots. It enables me to envision things differently the next time. Hope someone that I commented on feels the same - if not, just ignore it ;-) |
