Okay, well when I graduated back in December, I found that I had alittle to much new found spare time on my hands. In between shooting and editing, I began rebuilding my R.C. Nitro powered RS4 R.C. car... Then, when I saw how into it my dad was, I built him an Associated TC3 car from scratch... Now, I just rebuilt an old RC10Gt off road and ran it today for the first time.... I was just wondering how many of you guys around here are into that sort of thing... I haven't taken any photos of them yet, but I'm going to (It's kinda hard to shoot when you are driving :) ) So... What are you guys running? Cars, boats, planes, or everything in between... Bonus points for pics! |

I love the stuff, however have found little time for it in the last 6 yrs. I've got an E-MAXX, some Tamyia kit and a mini Losi LST. Now the LST went boom last year and I still haven't fixed it. I think there a couple of people here who are into it as there are some decent shots of trucks. |

A few friends of mine and I used to get into this about 15 years ago, I had a Blackfoot Monster Truck that I built from the kit then added all the high performance hop-up parts to it. Kind of lost the passion for it, But just last year the passion came back and I purchased a Tamiya TXT-1 Kit. I haven't finished building it yet because I ran out of time and I still haven't purchased a radio for it. But I plan to get back to it in the near future and finish building it. |

ha. I love how the background in this photo makes it look like a real car... At first glance I think most people would assume it was. you did a nice job with the paint scheme. my truck came with two bodys one clear and one prepainted. trying to figure out what i want to do with the clear one. I might just paint some trim lines on it and leave the rest clear.

Actually, the paint scheme was based on a 1966 Shelby mustang my father had when he was a teenager... Who would have known they'd become the collector's item that they did... Anyway, I used 3m masking tape to tape off the racing stripes and I used the decals for the stripes on the sides as masks... The rest are decals, because I don't have that kinda time and we're just going to beat that body up on the track anyway :) I still love going down there with a good looking car though... |
