My take on the editing rules is that they are there to ensure the challenges remain about photography and don't cross the line into being digital art. For a challenge like this, I agree that expert editing might be appropriate. |
Well dadgumit you sure wouldn't want to cross that line, you might fall off the edge of the photodocumented earth! Really, seriously, what awful things do you think might happen? Is it only the first step from photography toward moral turpitude & cultural degeneration? [hysterical laughter]
[eta] OK I take it back. Of course I know from reading these forums for the past 4 years that this site is either dangerously close to plug-in la-la-land or determined to remain true to fundamentalist photography & if I don't like it I can just go take a hike to some other site. I was just trying to be funny.

This was exactly what I was trying to say. But he said it better. The rules are necessary, and welcome in every challenge I've seen... except for this one. |
