ROFL! Well here's part of one of mine... "Exploitative?"

eta: My comment came from someone who just joined today.

Thanks for laughing Kelli! I thought it was funny too.

Very nice, Brian! Good to see!

I may have another personal best coming up! Or at least second best.
Soon I'm going to be putting some of my old pictures up on flickr and on my portfolio here, I have a lot to catch up with!

ANOTHER one? You've had three in almost a row now! Very nice. (Which challenge, by the way?)

I'm due my second sub-5 of the year soon. That makes my February average kinda piss-poor. Ah well. Maybe I'll learn more soon. Think? :-)

In Framing, although my free study is doing good too! Top 6 :)
You're just giving me all your good luck, which I really must thank you for!

Heh! I don't have any luck. Every once in awhile I pull the wool over the eyes of a voter or 60. But most of the time I just middle along nicely. Or suck.

I tell ya, you've got a future in that particular aspect of photography you've been working on... keep it up!

Anyone willing to help me pick an egg shot?

Does anyone have any tips on how to get a good photo of an aquarium. Not a huge one- just a home fish tank, I mean.

If you have a way to get the flash off to the side/top/back and fire it remotely, that helps a little bit.

(Note, this advice is coming from a whopping experience of one time)

If you have a circular polarizer to cut down on glass glare it would be a big help. Of course, then you need more light. The better the lighting, the better your shot will be.

Team Suck is represented quite nicely on the front page, if I do say so myself! Congrats, Sara!!!

I'm completely blown away with the good fortune I'm having.

Wow! I was feeling pretty good after physical therapy yesterday so I had Tina take me and my camera for a ride. If I sit in the backseat and put my leg up on the console between the front seats, I can ride for awhile. Then I just tell her when to stop and I can take some shots out of the car window! Well...the last 3 challenges I managed to get a shot in and they're all in the 4's. But...I got one yesterday for Parallel lines and it's actually at a 5.0 right now!
I don't think I've filled you in on my progress lately but the MRI of my lower back showed a few bulging discs but the neurosurgeon says he can't see anything on there that looks like it's touching my sciatic nerve. So Saturday I get another MRI on my hip and pelvic area. It's just all so slowww! It's been 8 weeks now and really no relief. I'm going to physical therapy three times a week and last week started with a pain management clinic. He gave me 3 shots that did nothing as far as I can tell. But I'm going back this morning for some more. I guess they have to find the right "trigger spots". I hope he finds them today! As for my sanity....well I have many ups and downs but I think I'm holding it together (most of the time). I thank God for my friend Tina, she is doing everything for me and I don't know what I would do without her. Most of the time I'm in this recliner with the laptop on my chest or watching TV or sometimes we hook up the karaoke and play. I've been participating in the post processing side challenge and that's been keeping me busy and I've learned lots about editing from trying new things.
My mom had her first chemo treatment and I was so worried about not being able to help her but she's doing great so far. She was sick the day after but since then she's doing great. She gets 6 of them 21 days apart so I hope they all go like the first one.
Let's see...what else...2 of my daughters are pregnant and both of my brothers daughter-in-laws are pregnant so we'll have 4 new babies before Christmas! Crazy!
I've also discovered that either the percocet or the valium make me quite chatty! :)
Wish me luck that the doctor finds the right "trigger points" today!
