1st pace to UrfaTheGreat A convincing context for the cars though maybe not in the vein of the Christine story.

2nd place to Hipychik Excellently processed.

3rd place to odriew I liked the dark rendition - in keeping with a dark tale.

I'm really struggling with the places for my boy and bandit shot, so I'll have to sleep on it.

Just a quick question:

Would you like me to post 2 more shots of models for this week, or would you all prefer something else????

I'd like you to. I never get to work on shots of models so I enjoy it.

And I promise no more grandkid shots. They're just so damn cute!

Nobody else is doing it. Why not?

Fair enough, I have a couple of humdingers this week then!
02/28/2010 11:03:41 AM · #166
oh dear, i hope their humdingers will be covered up
02/28/2010 11:19:00 AM · #167
Well...I haven't messed around with a humdinger in a long time! LOL

I didn't get a chance to do many edits this week, but here are my picks for edits of my Firetruck shot. Some creative and fun edits from everyone on this one.

#1 pwm6 Made the whole scene look like it was on a sheet of glass. He put a lot of time into this edit and it shows. Impressive work.

#2 UrfaTheGreat Wonderful old-timey look. I want to learn how to do such treatments. When I do them, they just look like overprocessed snapshots.

#3 Kelli Love the dramatic overlay.

So, unless anybody can come up with something better... this is all I got.

Art Roflmao made it for me years ago when I was a newb. He made it in response to me saying something like 'nobody's going to get too overly exited at the prospect of getting a cynthiann award'. LOL
02/28/2010 06:49:24 PM · #171
1st place to Kelli I just liked the whole 'look'.

2nd place to skewsme because I love the quirkiness.

3rd place to Hipychik for cool presentation.

I really had trouble deciding this one and I have to give an honourable mention to UrfaTheGreat

I'm so surprised! I did well on other peoples pics. Now I just need to learn how to take my own and process them! LOL I have like all 4's in the challenges right now! Yippee! I have to add that they were all taken out the window or the car window on the way to the docs.
Thanks everyone! I had a blast doing this and like I said earlier, it's been helping me keep my sanity while I go through this sciatic back problem that's keeping me laying in this recliner all day on pain meds. Actually...maybe the pain meds helped me win! LOL
