It was so nice yesterday I decided to try to go for a ride with my camera. I can sit in the backseat with my left leg on the console between the front seats. So...Tina drove me around and I actually got a shoe shot in!! It's at 4.6 but I love it so I don't even care. I kind of knew it wouldn't go over very well.
Wish me luck...I have an appointment with the neurosurgeon today.

oh! Very, very good luck! Here's hoping he'll say "heck, we can fix that thing right up!" Well, maybe he'll say it more professionally, but have the same gist!

Good luck Terry! I woke up to a 6.1 with 4 comments & a fav in shoes. Made me happy! And someone even knew exactly which software I processed with. LOL!

Gah - neurosurgeon - I went to one of them.
Still, that was 16 years ago and I've no reason to go back, so good luck :)

That's what I'm hoping for! "Oh...this little thingy is a little discombobulated, let me use my whatchacallit and you're good to go!"

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum, Susan.

Would a dose of young and cute help ?

Our newest "babies".
A pair of Degu babes, they were 6 weeks old on Thursday.

Well...the neurosurgeon doesn't think the problem is in my spine. He does think that it's a nerve problem but maybe in my hip or pelvic area. So Thursday I go back for an MRI on my hip and pelvic area this time.

Dang, Terry, that's gotta be annoying at best. But on the plus side, having it NOT be the spine is probably a good thing!
02/22/2010 05:16:38 PM · #2542
Yeah...It's probably a good thing that it's not the spine. I was just so hoping that he would know exactly what the problem was and I could get it taken care of. My mom is really going to need my help and this just sucks.

Did you tell him that he was supposed to say "Oh...this little thingy is a little discombobulated, let me use my whatchacallit and you're good to go", maybe he just forgot...

Hopefully Deb's right, and not being the spine is a good thing! At least they can continue the search this week and didn't have to wait until next week.

Anything NOT involving the spinal cord is a good thing, Terry! Wonder if it like it could be sciatica, which RayEthier also suffers from.

Thanks for the thoughts, everyone, and Lea...yes, a dose of small cute furry critters works for me! But what on earth is/are degu? Chinchillas minus the huge coat?

Terry be glad it is not your spine. I had back surgery in 2007 and yes I'm not in as much pain as I was but I still can not do every thing that I would like to do. If I kneel I have to have help up and I can't ride a bike any more or go bowling so there is good and bad to having back surgery.
