Anyone else watching this ATM? I have it streaming via the BBC (in HD no less) on my 2nd monitor. Watching the Ski-jumping, absolutely fantastic, would love to be there rattling one of those cow bells.

Sigh!

Pretty amazing streaming video quality, no kidding. It's on NBC's site in the USA.

I daresay we get the same footage (pretty much) as you. I love it when they pan across the crowd and they realise they are on the screen - everyone looks like they are having a ball. Although very cold!

Be careful what you wish for...I hear cowbells were only distributed to the spectators who brought along the equivalent of 10 dumptruck loads of snow with them, to put on the ski runs ;-)

Cold? It was +9C in Vancouver and pouring rain during the final leg to light the permanent torch for the games. Gretzky got soaked while transporting the flame from BC place to the water front.

It's not much colder up on the alpine event areas either. I think it was +3 up at the ski-jumping today.
