$336.00! The neurologist is $315.00. I asked my doctor which one he thought would be more helpful because I can't do both. The neurologist said he would look at my MRI and if he doesn't think he can do anything I don't need to go there so that's good I guess.

Yikes! But if it will help, I say it'll be worth it. And many places, if they know you have to pay the full amount out of pocket, have a different fee scale for such instances. It may be worth it to ask!

Better not let my hopes up too high, lest they possibly be crushed by disappointment

You learn to develop a thick skin pretty quickly around here or else you will be swarmed by the trolls or have a fire breathing monster toast your tail!

Cool! I thought this was a photography forum. I haven't played Dungeons and Dragons in YEARS!

I did ask. The neurologist does let you pay payments but the other place needs it up front. At least the neurologist isn't going to see me if he doesn't think surgery will help me ( from looking at the MRI) and if I do need surgery then I guess I won't need the other place!
I was just in shock about the prices of the office visits. I've only ever had to pay $25.00 co-pay.

Well.....it's tapered off somewhat.....and I helped the poor neighbor whose snowblower broke, so it's naptime.

No tapering here. This is from last night when the wind kicked up.

Probably about 2 feet on the ground and it's still coming down hard. Apparently I now live in the Snow Belt!

I think meyershas sufficient TS status to be granted a flaming lemur messenger, so no scolding :D Long as I get to photograph it while it's delivering the message!

Breathing a giant sigh of relief after 24 inches of snow to see this out the back at the end of the day.....

Ha! If not actively raining, I plan to ride tomorrow. :-) No snow here!

The snow photos remind me of the storm of 78, I was living in Groton CT. Being the greedy bastard I was, made about $600 in the days after, shoveling. Good money that for a 16 year old in the 70's. Payed cash for my first vehicle a 53 Chevy truck.
