Lea I would love to share some with you and all our wonderful members here at team suck, however when I returned home from taking Isaac to an audition last night all of my cake was gone :) Thankfully I was able to get a small piece the day of my birthday because it would appear that that was the only day it counted as mine :)

Oh well it helps to keep me thin if it's not around :)

MAX!

Well we're expecting another Nor'easter here this weekend. The last one dropped 2 feet of snow on us. Here's hoping it's not as bad as the last one. They're only calling for 1 foot this time, but last time the predictions started at 6 inches. LOL!

$83 - that means a little over 650 on the lens, which is a big lump of money, but prices are about twice US in this part of the world.

ouch is right! I wonder how much it costs to ship something to you... You should give someone here your credit card number, we could buy the stuff and then ship it out. It's probably still cheaper than you buying it (at least that's what it sounds like...)

Whose birthday, Lea?

Happy Birthday Lea!!

Wendy, you can do that, but they will still charge VAT, value added tax, based on the worth of the item. That happened to me when I had to ship things to my German street address rather than my on-post "American" address. Since I was not a citizen of Germany, I could take a form to the VAT office and get out of paying it. But the camera I sent AS A GIFT to someone in South Africa had VAT levied on it - even though it was a gift.

Best bet is if you can handcarry the item. Only slightly illegal then.... :-)

Wait. wait!! I've got an idea! Sending me the money for any of the big ticket items you want to purchase. Send me a plane ticket, and I will hand carry it to you!!! I'd love to visit Norway. :D

Oh - PS - I looked at your wedding pictures and you did an EXCELLENT job!! I'm sure they'll be very pleased!

That cake is hilarious !!!

Sadly, it would ALL be lost on my kids, and quite possibly my siblings (who are 9 and 11 yrs younger than myself).

Sorry no - I can imagine my little sis being all too well aware of Cheech and Chong, and not for their comedy.

That sounds like a new type of bi-polar disorder -- I don't think there's any medication for it though ... ;-)
