I've had the 7D since it's release but have done little as far as photography goes. I've been using the HD and learning the in's and out's of editing and color correction in digital film (And audio as well, which is a pain).

The few times I have turned to it for photography, I've always come away with slight blurs in my image or the focus is off (Not so when I check the LCD screen for a preview). My D700 is my may photo camera and I know what speeds I need to keep them at to avoid any shake when going hand-held. The same doesn't seem to apply to the Canon 7D. What speeds are you using for hand-held?

The best solution would be to get out and shoot a whole day with it and get used to it. I'm just having too much fun with the video.
Here are a couple if the images that I could pull out of the 7D that I liked. A critique would be nice as well as some advice from 7D owners.

and some video...a work in progress (All the videos are).
