Well tonight is the game of the season, wait more like game of the century for the Saints. For those that have not paid attention, tonight's game will determine if the New Orleans Saints will go to the super bowl. There is a first time for everything. I think the saints will win. WHO DAT SAY THEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS. geaux saints.

Game 1 AFC, here is hoping the Colts slap the stuffing right out of the Jetts.
Game 2 NFC, I like both for different reasons, I̢۪m hoping for a great game that neither feels bad about leaving something on the table. |

I don't really care who wins the AFC match up. But as a Packer Fan. I am totally praying for the Saints to send old #4 back to the retirement home without a new ring on his finger. Don't get me wrong I am a huge Brett Favre Fan, But not while he is wearing the purple helmet. |

I'd like to see the Saints win it all. But I would like for the Jets to beat the Colts. The Colts are the reason the Jets were even in the playoffs. |

As a Pittsburgh Steeler fan my season ended weeks ago...but I live with a crazed Colts fan so we're looking for a Colts win today. If they don't win it'll be a lynching in Indianapolis for letting the Jets get through in the first place. So Colts over Jets. And down south??? My father-in-law is a Vikings fan so as long as he's around we'll be rooting for them...Farve took out Dallas and they took out New Orleans so I'd say Vikings over Saints. |

Broncos fan here, so AFC really doesnt matter, except the Colts better win. I'm really torn about the NFC however. On one side a like Brett, but I think the Saints deserve the shot. So I'm going with the Saints, I think. I just hope its a good game. |

As an old football prognosticator and all around psychic "seer," here's my take:
MINN at NO
Saints will win big at home. The Vikings are a very good team, but the Saints are going to be a buzz-saw at home tonight. Favre and the offense will not know what hit them. I'm predicting a blow-out, Saints win by 20, Favre will get picked-off three times. They'll never get their running game going and the Vikings' defense will be overwhelmed by the Saints offensive attack.
Saints 37, Vikings 17
NY at IND
My heart is definitely with the Jets, the improbable conference contenders, led by a rookie QB and a brash, say-whatever-you-think trash talking coach. I love Rex Ryan's bravado and chutzpah because he's got his team believing that they can do anything. I was also a Jets fan as a kid when another flashy smack-talker guaranteed victory against another Colts team so long ago. However, the Jets' fairy tale comes to a crashing halt this afternoon. Peyton Manning against Mark Sanchez? Please. It reminds me of the Colts vs. my beloved Bears three years ago. These quarterbacks do not inhabit the same planet. Peyton is a god, Sanchez is a kid. The Colts offense will overwhelmingly confuse and befuddle the Jets defense. Revis will likely be the lone bright spot - Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark will not score while he covers them. But he can't be everywhere, and the Colts have too many weapons for Peyton to choose from. At the same time, the Colts D will keep the Jets' running game contained enough to make Sanchez have to throw, and when it does, it's all over. Colts in a route.
Colts 35, Jets 14 |

Well then you're NOT a huge Favre fan, otherwise it wouldn't matter what helmet he was wearing. :P

Me too!! I'd like to see the Saints go all the way to Super Bowl--remember--- the Bears beat the Vikings (even if it was in overtime).

That about sums it up for me, too :)
I'll be watching the games today, though. I'd like to see the Saints win, mainly because I'm going to be in New Orleans in a few weeks, and it would be cool to see something good happen for the city. At the same time, it would be kinda cool to see Favre in the Super Bowl. I guess I'll just root for whichever team is ahead at the half. :)
I'll be looking for Indianapolis to stomp all over NY. |

J. E. T. S. JETS! JETS! JETS!
I've been a Jets fan for as long as I can remember. Here's hoping they have little more magic left this season...If its a low scoring game, then anything can happen...

Jets are playing fantastic D. I'm sure they'll at least cover today (+8.5). |

Jets are looking tough! I have no preference in who wins but it's kind of exciting to see the underdog do well. |

GO SAINTS!!!!
When I was a wee one (Ok, more like 16 ha ha), I got John Madden Football for my Genesis. The Saints became my team, because they had awesome uniform colors, and were a pretty good team in that game, despite being not a very good one over-all.
Since then, I've kind of dropped off the NFL bandwagon, and don't really follow it, but whenever the Saints start having any kind of success, I'm right back there cheering them on.
Do it for an old bandwagon fan! |

Not in this case, I rooted for him when he was with the Jets last year, But then he signed with one of the Packers biggest rivals, a team who's fans spent the previous 15 years hating his gutts and calling him every name in the book. I look forward to his real retirement so he can mend the fence with Green Bay come home and have his Number Retired and go down in history as the greatest QB ever and enter the Hall of Fame as a Packer. But while he is in Minnesota he gets no respect from me. Just like the other 52 guys wearing the purple helmet. Trust me I am a fan. I wore a number 4 jersey every Sunday for his entire career in GB rooting for the guy win or lose.

I don't have anything personal against the Aints. However they have managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory on a fairly regular basis. Thereby losing their "S".
I'm good either way tonight...
My favorite team is whoever is playing the Cowboys...

Actually, the game was pretty close till about half way through the 4th quarter. Sanchez played well too. The Jets' D got tired, and there is no margin of error when dealing with Manning. Oh well, good season. |
