Well, the original had no color other than gray to begin with, so that helps!

I'm here now. LOL! You've probably gone to bed. I signed into messenger. My internet keeps shutting down which keeps shutting it down. It has something to do with the router I put in.

My goal this year, in general really, is to comment more often. And through commenting more I hope to learn how to comment helpfully and one day join the critique club and infuse some life into it :)

You don't have to wait to join the critique club - it is made up of normal everyday members who want to contribute by leaving detailed critiques for those who request them. Join sooner rather than later!

I meant to mention it before, but, Welcome home Deb!

OMG sure you're not in British Columbia, Deb? :-)

Senay, you're so right, the CC has been falling flat lately. So much for another resolution of mine, to write one critique a day! Only 21 days or so behind! :-)

And thanks everyone for th great comments on the galloping Clydesdales. I have shot them before, for the Friends challenge, only that was during the summer and I did them in sepia-ish tones. And they were running the other way, maybe that's what fooled people ;-) I do try to get shots like this, but depending on everything else - footing, light, weather, size of field (where horses may bomb down to and end up being the size of peanuts) horses willing to cooperate (and being horses that I know well) and an owner not minding me running their beasties for a brief period of time...well...pretty difficult to manage at times!

Well I sent a ticket in, I don't know if I'm experienced enough at commenting but we'll see!

Yo Deb, yall Californians gonna quit sending that nasty a$$ed weather this way LOL. Actually the waters good for our little desert. The mountains to the north were a good solid white yesterday while viewed in a small break, and from what I heard picked up another 4-6 feet last night, might have to jaunt up to Zion for photo op’s this weekend. Hell cant do much yard work in this mud pit I call a yard. Today though a good day to stay dry insideâ€Â¦

Well didn't make it out of Denver to Phoenix last night. Flight was cancelled due to weather. We are driving back to Denver today to try again. My sister-in-law said the crazy weather was all my fault.

Yep, still wet here today. Was wet all day yesterday. Hoping for a dry patch now and again so some of the wet can run back to the ocean. Chance (!!!) of sunshine on Saturday! Woo hoo!

Good luck, Rosemary!

There're kitty people here, right?

This is Frick....

Frick has no self-control.

She's such a baby, and wants attention, so she follows you around like a puppy.

Thank you for the nice comments. My wife and I took the little jaunt to Zion (25 minutes) hoping to get a sunrise shot. There was never a sunrise, heck the fog, clouds, snow never broke at all. This was taken at the trailhead to Emerald pools. What surprised us was we where first there at this popular trail, and had it not been for the Wife having a cold we probably would have dared venture the distance, I imagine the waterfall at the top would have been nothing short of spectacular. Content with driving with few park employees and none others about, we drove slowly and stopped at will. Truly a morning like no other.

Love the shot Alan!

Thanks Deb for telling me to join the Critique Club right away. I'm in it now! Working on the best of 2009 should take awhile though.
