I carved out some segments of the original on several different layers. on one (or more-these are pretty random) of the layers, on the carved out piece, I would add a 1 pixel stroke. That is causing the tracery around and through the image.

slightly different approach, swirled the original a bit, applied the standard flip and blend then swirled again.

Holy cow! I haven't been commenting or doing much of anything except working on my new Win7 x64 system. I now have CS4 x64, too. Just a couple of more things on my list, like shooting some RAW files for the first time in my life. The Save for Web in CS4 is much, much more complicated. I think I can send one of these flips to my iphone for a screen saver. hehehe Anyway, I'll get into commenting once again tomorrow afternoon. There's lots of beautiful comps here! |

Just wondering why some features are so persistent, while other stuff gets shuffled out of recognition. |
