I figured since someone here always knows the answer to pretty much everything that I would give this a try:
I'm playing Neverwinter Nights as Ranger class, I am already at Level 11 and have the option of summoning my animal companion, however I don't know if I want to because I've read in a few places that if your familiar dies you permanently lose hits points / experience points and I'd rather not have it if that's the case!
I've been searching the web to try and confirm if this is true or not and I can't find anything that says so, also, I think the rangers animal companion might work different from a familiar anyway.
I know this question really belongs over at NWN forums but you guys know everything so I thought I'd give it a try here first.
So, anyone know what happens when a rangers animal companion dies?
Thanks! |

Why not just save the game, check XP and HP, and then suicide the pet? Once you know restore from the save. |

And now I'm wondering why I didn't think of that, thanks! |

Thanks, that's why I didn't really want to post it in the NWN forums :) |
