Today in Seattle ... it's Monday ... it's raining.

Reminds me of the old Carpenters song.

[wry observation] It was released in 1971 btw ... how many of you were alive then, you young whipper snappers? [/wry observation]

These scores from the December Free Study are the reason I've been thinking of this old sing.

Yo, Steve ... er ... Spiff ... No we've had enough contemporary song titles. Although I could be up for a Beethoven Song Titles challenge.

I was just whining about the velocity of the drop ... and wondering if others had endured something similar.

Yes, YES! Do both! :-) Run them as Open's and take your choice.

Umm...I hate to admit, but I was a HUGE Carpenter's fan. :-D

How about 'Bread'? Some great stuff for those "quiet moments" !

I had that album, The Best Of Bread (1977), I swear I wore it out!! In my music library I have some Bread songs that I still play, Baby I'm A Want You, Make It With You, Diary, I Would Give Everything I Own, If A Picture Paints A Thousand Words, It Don't Matter To Me....
They were so smoothhhhhhhhh! LOL

Oh dear. I know all those songs. That album was my second purchased. First was Billy Joel's "Piano Man".

I don't remember the first album but the very first record I ever bought was the 45 rpm of Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells. I played it at my grandmas house on her big console stereo and when it got to that funky part my mom told me to take it back to the store because it must be warped. LMAO!

Believe it or not, I remember the era when such fashion atrocities were considered the height of cool.

I NEVER had platform shoes that had giant cork soles. I swear. It was all just a bad dream. Really!
