So would Canon send another camera back, instead of my own, without notifying me? They received my camera on Friday at Jamesburg, NJ. They supposedly fixed it, and shipped it out a couple hours later from a post office 40 miles away from Jamesburg. Something seems very odd to me. I'm wondering if they actually fixed it or just swapped it out? I'm nervous that the just shipped a refurbished unit instead. I'd rather they refurbish mine--I know it's history.

I guess I'll find out later today, but it makes me a little paranoid, because it doesn't make much sense...

You can check the serial number when you get it back - it's in the exif info. Maybe they're just being very prompt! :-)
