Good luck Printzell! This is my first entry too! So many of the photographers that enter these challenges are so talented and I don't expect my photo to do that well in comparison, but I'm here to learn and have fun while doing it :)

My entry is totally M!ssundaztood. Speed Voters *sigh*
I wonder if they walked past Madam Mona Lisa at the Louvre would they also spend <1 second and move on?
So far 3 DPC'ers have actually LOOKED at it and commented and one Fave'd it! I guess that's why I'm here right? |

hmm, it looks like some people really bad have been voting in the last hours... Did anybody notice a decrease in the score in the last hours or it's just me?

A steady drop for the past 24 hours, hour on hour.
From Wikipedia:
"Symmetry generally conveys two primary meanings. The first is an imprecise sense of harmonious or aesthetically pleasing proportionality and balance; such that it reflects beauty or perfection. The second meaning is a precise and well-defined concept of balance or "patterned self-similarity" that can be demonstrated or proved according to the rules of a formal system: by geometry, through physics or otherwise."
Thus it doesn't have to be a perfectly aligned widget, but anything that portrays proportionality AND balance.
