OK, so I won a ribbon. No big deal to some I suppose but it was VERY exciting for me, my first one an all.
I know I have the ribbon on my page but you know what...to see my photo up there on the front screen of DPC was a real buzz and I wanted to capture that moment...so I did. It may be a very long time before I'm back up there again ... if ever.
I know....I'm crazy.
Anyone else crazy too?

Yeah, count me in. I've even taken screenshots of other photogs ribbons. IE when Scalvert won the trifecta (Blue, Red, & Yellow), all within one week!!

| When I got a ribbon I captured the front page and immediately sent it to my wife at work, never thought to keep it though, suppose it's sitting in my sent items though. |

I used to do it. But then I started running out of portfolio space to post them in. ;)

| I do it all the time and I do it at other sites where I win photo-of-the-day or if someone uses my photo on their site (with permission) or references one of my photos in a blog post. I've been doing this ever since I started winning photo of the day contests several years ago. |

I was disappointed that I didn't think of it, as well. HOWEVER, does anyone keep the old weekly updates? I have one old one, but not where I ribboned... The links wouldn't work, but I assume that thumbnails would still be ok...? (It is on the one that I have) |

whoo hoo!!! I just looked in my deleted emails folder (I never remember to empty it) And I have the weekly update for my blue and one of the reds!! Off to look for more! |
