With all the discussion about "stock" photography, why not turn back to basics?
My idea is to have challenges in the "classic" photo catagories, portrait, BW, landscape, nude, etc. Declare your level of expertise, Pro or Industrial(use advanced editing), or amateur/hobby(basic editing)and do your best. I think we could all learn a lot from something like this.
What do you think? |

But what if you are an amateur that likes to clone out annoying hot pixels et al?

Just as long as it isn't a combo - no nude self portrait challenge please. I'm way to old. |

I said nude, not glamour, although glamour could be a good genre for this also. ;) |

I don't think the "level of expertise" has anything to do with the type of editing. I'm also not sure what would exactly be learned from what is essentially an open challenge.
However, if you did want to do a nude self portrait challenge can we change the name to the "Flab Fest Challenge", I believe in the truth and calling it like you're gonna see it. LOL. |

My intention was to offer an oppurtunity for those of us that are less skilled to learn from those that are more experienced. There are some participants that are at the pro level, even though they would be classed as amateurs. |

Nude challenge revisited gets my vote but I wonder how that would be photographically instructional ;)
