Personally I count my own entry nearly in that category, I had a long and hard self debate as to whether to enter or not, but my titlt although with purpose (cant say what it was would reveal the photo) is simply nowhere near as purposfull to challenge as others .... but it felt so zorkinlgy unusual an angle to my neck ache and dirtyed trousers (pants to you Yanks) that I decided to submit.
Started at 4.7 now up to 5.4 so I'm kinda glad I did. |

I've been lurking on this website for some time now, and I've finally plucked up the courage to post an entry. I gotta say, you guys are really intimidating - some of your shots are truely incredible.
I'm not looking too crash-hot, but it's an improvement from the first few hours:

I started off in the low 4's and while I was dissappointed, I wasn't exactly surprised considering the talent that's present here. I'm starting to feel a bit better now after reading this thread though :)

This challenge seems to be low scoring so far, so don't feel too bad about your score. My first ever entry was 4.8, so I'd say you're off to a good start.

Attack of the tilted horizons! Nothing wrong with that, but a tilted horizon alone does not "create design or movement". I looked for photos that used the "unusual angle" to make the photo better. Sadly, not many of them did, in my opinion.
Some, however, were outstanding.
