I'd love to become a member of DPC but I have an issue. I'm at college and there really isn't the same opportunities for fun photos with complicated setups that I had at home. Like if you look my photos there's a distinctive switch from more complicated photos like the despair one to the river one. So should i? Thanks everyone!

I did Fantasia in about 3 ft sq space...

I say join up, you don't need a lot of space or fancy setups , just good ideas and I see that in your entries so far

you don't need fancy setups for good pics.. you just need an eye and imagination. I think being forced to work with what you have would help you grow quitea bit. there is always pictures to be taken out on the stree / in a park / in a corner of a building

I do all my indoor photos on my bed with a piece of card and a desk-lamp.

Join means you have more choices of challenges to enter. You don't have to enter every one of them, instead you can be more picky.

Sometimes missing 3 or 4 challenges in the user challenges makes you jump back in with any ol' shot. All my 3's were because I haven't participated for a while and just couldn't stand it anymore.

I agree with Gordon

It does not take much space.

I have used $9.00 desk lamps and $2.00 black or white poster boards that work great.

Join up.

19 of my challenge submissions to date have done in my home. :)
Gordon had a thread somewhere about challenging yourself to step outside 10 steps or so, and find a way to photograph what you find there in an interesting way.. Have that link Gordon?
Maybe do a search for it.

5 of my entries were done on a piece of 8 1/2x 11 white paper.
4 of my entries require me to walk down to the beach.
