Any comments?
I'm trying to burn a DVD slide show. iDVD doesn't seem to handle the size of it, 500 photos and 40 mins of music) without creating skips in the music. Also my iDVD burns play horribly on older DVD players, skips at every transition. So I'm looking for another program. Maybe FotoMagico combined with Roxio Toast is what I want. |

Have you first tried recording the slideshow to a hard disk, and then burning it to DVD? I may be more a problem with the DVD recorder than the specific software.
I usually record all CDs/DVDs first to a "disk image" on the hard drive first, then burn to the optical media -- it seems more reliable because the data is all pre-assembled and (relatively) contiguous, whereas the way you're doing it now, the data can be scattered all around your hard drive, and you can get glitches if the buffer empties while the hard drive has to seek it out. |
