All the images rolled into the winning shot - see if you can spot yours ;)

Superb.
I presume you have a programme for Mosaic making Jon,
or did you wipe out your coffee stocks labouring on this?

Well it took me since the end of the NG challenge last week until today -I printed all the images out and cut them by hand. I then sorted them into colour and tone piles, and gradually stuck them onto a piece of thick white card.
The final image was scanned and uploaded to DPC.
Not really, I just used a simple piece of software ;)

Interesting, though I spotted a couple that I'm sure weren't in the NG challnge, particularly this shot:
I did see mine in there quite a few times, so I'm not going to complain that much. ;)
Good show, nonetheless. |

mmmm odd. Used an image harvester so perhaps it went off from a few links?

Taken from the bottom of every DPC page:

I sure you asked everyone Jon so there will be no problem ;P |

That's cool ( as long as you aren't selling it and violating all those nice people's copyright :) )
[though yes someone will pipe up that even though it ain't for money its still a © violation]
I think maybe using smaller thumbs would make the image show up clearer though ?
A similar, but different technique I tried a while ago, all done in photoshop using textures:

Very cool idea. Haven't found mine yet. Maybe you could link to a larger copy? |

I think you'll find that the images arent just NG shots. I noticed three of my recently uploaded prints in there, and couldnt even see my NG shot! It still looks cool, though!

Yeah I think the harvester buggered up. The program I used to grab the image was GetPix - all you do is point it to a web address and it goes of and grabs every image there.
The montage program is a freebie called: Mazaika
