I am looking forward to it. Looks like we are going to have decent weather too. Have you thought of things to do, places to go etc?

I just found out I will be in NZ from the 4th - 11th Starting in Auckland, ending in Wellington.
If we hook up Judi owes me lunch:)

I think Judi is leaving Wellington on the morning of the 4th.
ETA: She is heading up to Auckland, They are having a DPC GTG there on the 8th so if you are still in Auckland you might be able to hook up with a few DPC folk.

Yeah many times, My wife has a cousin that lives in Otaki, Have also taken a few road trips up to Auckland during previous visits here.

How about this for an idea. We can do central Wgtn in the morning and early afternoon and then head up the coast after that, catch the nice late afternoon sun. That way Brain and Nick you can join us in whatever parts you can ;)

If I did need to be back here, It would be by 3-3:30 I have to find out for sure, My wife has a couple of meetings tomorrow but I am not certain of the times until I talk to her. If she isn't going to be home before 3:30 I will need to be here when our daughters get home from school. My Mother and Father inlaw are normally here, But they are taking our son to the zoo tomorrow so there might not be anyone home when the girls get home.

Ok sounds good, My wife just informed me that her first meeting is at 9AM, She is not sure what time the second one starts and wont know until the first one is over, apparently they are both with the same group of people. Anyway I am game to bum around town until I hear from her. If Judi would like, we can head to this side of town and shoot some pictures around the bays, very photogenic area, especially if the South Island is visible. Even with out the SI it is still pretty good photography. I will be coming into town on the bus so name a place to meet, perhaps somewhere like a Mr Bunn or another place that serves breakfast and we can go from there.

I was thinking the other way around, Meet in town for breakfast check out the city a little bit maybe work around the loop as I call it, Start off downtown, work way to Mt Vic then down through Kilbernie then hit the bays If you like Indian Food, I know a really nice little cafe that has the best nan bread in Wellington along with some really good curry, They also have real good specials for lunch. That is in Newtown which would be on the way back into the city after shooting the bays. Was just down by the bays a few minutes ago, very calm there today. hardly any wind. hopefully tomorrow will be much the same.

Brian sounds good except a couple of things! The earliest we can get there will be 9 o'clock, so are you happy for a late breakfast?
Judi is not keen on curries ( but I love them so maybe another time we can go shooting and go there for lunch! )
How are you thinking of getting around, as I will have my car we could get to places quicker!
I also will be bringing a friend who has been at the convention all weekend with Judi and isn't sick of her yet LOL!
