Again with a random, accidental portrait. I went to my local gallery's annual charity auction to try and get some shots of the event. This lovely woman just epitomizes joie de vivre. She's bright, funny, and pretty darn photogenic if you ask me. I suck at indoor shooting, so I'm delighted with this one. It's funny, but I just wasn't liking this in color......it's MUCH better this way.

I've got to take part in this one as Melethia has taught me alot over the past year about shooting pigeons, among other things ;-)

As soon as I upload the shots, I'll post them.

Do you use an over/under or a side-by-side?

I'm not quite sure I understand the question. I am somewhat new here so I could easily miss the reference.

Correct. People shoot birds with Shotguns. I wanted to get a rise out of Deb, no luck yet :-)

Yikes! I didn't get the reference either... but with cameras, people, shoot the pigeons with cameras! (And glad to see you figured out how to get here, John!)

ok, I'm posting this here so that I don't enter it into DPC cinema. I've already entered something I like, even though no one else in my family likes it. So I'm going to stick with it and grump when it does poorly.

Here's the almost replacement:
