I like the comosition, and the jet black background works, but two things bother me:
1.) The whites on the subject's front is blown out badly, and
2.) The colors, e.g. in the eyes, are over-saturated.
You can correct the eyes, but there's no reclaiming the blown highlights.

I didn't touch the eyes post editing, just the curves which affected them. You're right about the blow out, dang that white on her! :)

I think some back lighting to seperate her from the background would help.

| Personally, I like the black of the cat blending with the background so there's no distinct edge. |
