I hate to write a post bout this but I did go to the sites explanation on how to resize a photo. I treid to keep it under the 720 i believe pixels but then it says it exceeds the 200gb i think? i have no idea what is wrong or what im doing wrong. Never had such problems before so dont know why i am now.... sorry for this post once again but can anyone help?

all i have is my old stupid adobe photoshop 5.0 thinking bout downloading pixresizer..... idk what to do

Does PS 5.0 have a save for web function? If yes, you can use that to optimize for file size.

If not, in the save dialogue you should have an option to adjust the quality. Around 70-75% usually works to get the file size down within the limits of dpc.

I primarily use PaintShop Pro, but I have Photoshop Elements 7 as well. Not sure how close that is to your PS 5, but here is something that might help:


Have you seen this tutorial that covers preparing images for challenges with Photoshop? I think this has the info you need.
