I just sold my first item on ebay and it was as addicting as the update button here on DPC. I might just start cleaning out the garage and sell everything that I don't use anymore.

Back in the day Ebay was fun, they cared about their sellers and buyers. Now it's so loaded with scammers, shills, and thief’s, it’s unreal. Just be careful..

Should I look for anything in particular with my sale? I sold something of value and I am accepting Paypal only. Any thoughts?

Selling
Paypall only, you have that, good. I will only sell only to US from now on, only because often customs from other countries often tax your shipment at the boarder, it has a tendency to piss of your buyers. INSURE EVERY THING YOU SHIP, I cannot stress that enough.

Will post more as I think of others

Edit to add if your item has a serial number on it, photograph the serial number. Also note your serial number to the buyer threw Ebays email system before you send. Something like this.
I have received payment for Item # XXXXXXX Serial # XXXXXXXXXX
I will ship on xx/xx/xxxx
Thank you for your payment

Ok a bit more again.
Get a tracking number and put it in the space provided in your paypal invoice. Other wise you have to wait for positive feedback to receive your money..

One piece of advice even when using paypal make sure there is some proof of delivery even if it is picked up, my son had a guy buy something, pay for it using paypal, gave him good feedback then about a month later told paypal he never received it and paypal took the money back out of his account. Long story short always get signatures and keep your records.
