He's getting paid for desecrating our facade. I don't remember his name off hand, but I'll come back with some sort of link(s).
The figure he's blacking in is an author of crime novels, one of which takes place in the building. (He is also a pop star and an ex-professional soccer player - lordy, hush my envy)... |

Kelli, huckleberries are like really juicy blueberrys, just a little samller(unless you're in alaska). they are super tart though. you cant really eat mor then 1 or 2 at once cause your mouth puckers up so bad. but they're kinda sweet too at the same time. lol that doesnt help at all does it:) |

Not really. LOL! But I went to the farmers market yesterday and got blackberries! Haven't had them in ages. I was just eating them plain from the carton. My mother makes the most amazing blackberry jam. I also found white Jersey peaches, which are only in season for about a week. Had one for breakfast. And Jersey cantaloupe, kiwis, black plums and pluots. Oh and also picked up a half dozen of apple cider donuts made fresh at the farm. Heavenly! |

As some of you may or may not know, as well as all the construction and photographic things I do, I'm also a professional actor and I just heard the my most recent commercial is now running on the net. It's not much and you can't even see my face (because of the new pay schedule negotiated by our union the client can go ultra cheep with the new categories, oh well, that's show biz) but you can see that my hair is getting a little thin :)
You can check it out here if you like.
I'm the flooring installer in the top TV. ad marked Aug. if you like you can have a look see
I hope everyone had a great weekend.
All the best to you and yours.
MAX! |

Ok, fun day, stupid end. Found a tunnel, found a cave, got some really cool shots, didn't have time to do things right. Entered ok shot, coulda entered a spectacular shot if I had time to even look through everything. *sigh*
Left my husband to upload my son's shot (something about getting home at 11:30 at night, and son sound asleep. He missed the deadline by 15 seconds. Jesse will be terribly disappointed. |

Originally posted by snaffles: Hope you also thought to pick the nettles while you were there, they are very edible. Think I cooked some up for Max Quigley when he stayed with me, and he survived! Cook them as you would spinach so no raw nettle salad, though maybe a wilted nettle salad would taste nice. |
Maybe next time, and I'll try it without the falling over bit too :) There's certainly enough of them out there.
We did come back with a huge bag full of plums - found a load of plum trees just randomly by the side of the road. There are plans to attempt to make some form of alcohol from them. |

Damn you :p
It's a very good business plan, not only did my friend and I stay for lunch and buy drinks, there were also more drinks consumed when my cavalry arrived to rescue me :) |
