So when do I book my ticket to that sandstone cavern system that got 3 DQs in Geology? I'm pretty sure it'll be on the front page exclusively this time around. |

Well, technically that's neither a cave nor a tunnel, as it lacks a roof; it's a fissure, or a very narrow canyon... Not that one would expect the voters to be this picky, of course, but...
Anyway, my money's on one of the Europeans to give us the Blue Grotto from the Isle of Capri :-)

I guess the antelope canyon shots are going to be hard to beat in this one. They almost have "water drop"-like charm under the dpc voters. |

No caves here, but I have a few urban tunnels. Gonna be hard to compete against all those caverns, though. |

No tunnels, not even railway, or caves within hours of me so this one could be difficult, maybe a shot of a tunnel diode lol |

If your profile is telling the truth about where you live, The Grand Union Canal isn't far from you, and that has the Blisworth Tunnel, but you're going to need to be afloat as it doesn't seem to have a towpath in the tunnel.

This is perfect timing (note the sarcasm), I was at Natural bridge (not really a tunnel) last week and we drove through the Red River Gourge and some great tunnels...maybe I can go back and finally post to another challenge.

I got lost trying to go around Pittsburgh on a cross-country vacation this week and ended up going into downtown Pittsburgh. All of a sudden we were GOING THROUGH A TUNNEL! Argg! I was driving so couldn't snap a picture but hopefully someone around PGH will have the chance. |
