Couldn't find it suggested before but then thats not saying much with my meager powers ; )
----------------
Description: Take a shot that captures a memorable Fictional Character from a book (Graphic Novels, childrens books & Comic strip characters do count) you have read, whether a portrait of that character or something that suggests the feel of that character. Your title must include both character name & book title.
----------------
We have all read books that have those perfectly described characters that lodge themselves in our head long after we have put the book down..
Hannibal Lecter, Kathy & Heathcliff, Mr Bump, Fizban, Fitz & The Fool, Haplo, Sorry, Will Stanton, Titus Groan.
Oh I could go on for ages. In a similar way to the Grimm Tales challenge last year I think this could be really fun.

Maybe if you call em graphic novels, which seems to be the thing to do these days. Good challenge idea.

I wouldn't consider my hero as being a "graphic Novel".

This sounds interesting... Really, if any fictional character counts, and the book was made into a movie, then you could base your photo on that. That would be sweet!

He is definitely a comic strip litte dude. If your gonna dress up as Calvin a do an SP that would be a very fun pic :) (My husband says I look like Susie Durkins now I have had my hair chopped short)

Im editting original post to clarify what I think counts as a "book".

Nah. At 48 I would make a lousy Calvin. I'd use my grandson. He has some great sticky-up hair and makes these over the top tough guy faces. He would be a perfect Calvin.

I've already got a frap ray somewhere (a great parent-annoying toy, BTW). I just need to get some of those squared off glasses and a suitable costume.
