So, it's only taken me well over a year, but I've finally finished processing my pictures from Africa. There are four East Africa galleries in my travel section on my website, but the gallery I think might be most interesting is the one from the Rwenzori Mountains (aka Mountains of the Moon) in Uganda. There are only about 500 visitors per year, so if your looking for a unique adventure, I'd highly recommend it. My membership has lasped, so I can't post pretty thumbs, but they are all up on my site!

And shameless plug, I've got my Syria and Prague pictures up in the travel section as well :)

Wonderful selection of photos of this exotic part of the world. How did you keep your batteries charged?

Thanks, Pineapple. The 40D battery life is long enough that I just needed two batteries for the 9 or so days in the mountains, and I didn't chimp as much as normal. Our fellow trekker, however, didn't have that luxury so a generator was brought on the trip (!). That doesn't normally happen though....

Thanks for the answer. Nice going with the batteries. Looks like it can get cool/cold there. By the way, I also viewed some of your other travel shots and really like what you present on your web site... nice inspring work.

@sam have a wonderful time biking! We met some people who were biking across the continent in Dar es Salaam, and they were having an excellent time.

@jb there is suppose to be some fabulous climbing in the Rwenzori's :)

@pineapple thanks!
