I've always thought it was "Glad to be in Baghdad", as in Iraq. Maybe Barry was a pro-military person that was glad that we bombed the hell out of that city. LOL!

My take on that name is so ingrained that it will never go away. No matter how much I "know" it is something else, it will always be:
Glad to be Bad.
