I was thinking we should do another diptych challenge... then I searched the challenge history, and couldnt find diptych (or dyptych), only tryptych.

Its been a while since we have had either one... so how about it. Diptych?

I think you should specify whether you want a single image divided into panels, two separate images, or either.

I'd be up for this challenge for sure! Been wanting to try a diptych shot for a while now.

A single image separated into two panels is just pure laziness.

Yes, we had a couple of Tryptich Challenges-the last one was 4-23-07:

Description
A triptych is a work of art which is divided into three sections which are hinged or connected. For this challenge, create an entry consisting of three panels that tells a story or illustrates a concept or object. Your panels can be subdivisions of one photo or be constructed from up to three separate photos, all of which must be shot within the challenge time frame.

I should clarify my response... I wasnt thinking. What I meant is that i would like to take 2 images, put them into the same image/jpeg in PS, and submit that, Not taking a single exposure and splitting it.

At first I though the question was whether I wanted to submit two separate jpegs to be voted on together.... my bad :)
