I only believe it when the SC has determined NASA stuck to the Basic editing rules!

You might be interested in this Kaguya site, showing photos the probe took before it smashed into the moon. A few weeks ago, I did have a look at the photos they had of the Apollo landing sites, but I guess they were too far away to show any of the landing modules; however, the terrain matched original NASA photos. |

Here's another article on the photos of the Apollo landing sites. Note that these are initial photos taken during instrument calibration, and later images are expected to have 2-3 times the resolution.
Related article on the photo which changed the world -- the Earthrise taken during the first lunar orbital mission (Apollo 8) by Bill Anders. Exerpt:
Originally posted by NASA article: For the first time in history, humankind looked at Earth and saw not a jigsaw puzzle of states and countries on an uninspiring flat map ΓΆ€“ but rather a whole planet uninterrupted by boundaries, a fragile sphere of dazzling beauty floating alone in a dangerous void. There was a home worthy of careful stewardship.
The late nature photographer Galen Rowell described this photo as "the most influential environmental photograph ever taken."
"It changed humanity's entire orientation," says Kristen Erickson of NASA headquarters in Washington, DC. "And similar photos taken by the Apollo 11 through 17 crews reinforced the impact of this first view." |

Ah...just jealous they couldn't walk on the moon....they probably all still think the world is flat and can't understand why they can't blow square bubbles. :)

Actually, it's possible to create a square (cubical) bubble, but it takes quite a bit of work -- I've seen the video by Louis Pearl, "The Bubble Guy" ... |

You're right about that, people will believe anything, but I guess the news just started spewing propaganda yesterday. In 1969, it was ok to believe the news... |
