Ok now that the flowers have faded and gone I will have to go out and buy some flowers.

Middle of winter here in Sydney, I wonder if brown withered looking trees will do?

Though not strictly flowers, the Flora challenges are also similar, and might provide inspiration for some.

I'm not a flower person. Unless I can figure out something really creative and different (preferably with a shoehorn in it), I'll be staying out of this one, both for entering and voting.

As much as I love flowers, it's going to be a tedious challenge. I hope there are some standouts. Maybe one with a sunset and a guy with six pack abs holding it. LOL

I've been trying NOT to photograph flowers, but yesterday (probably when Langdon's spy satellite was overhead) I photographed a fair sample of what presented itself in the garden, mostly for the record but also to play with manual focus. Very time consuming. Looked forward to doing something - anything - else.

Flowers I almost exclusively macro................................................................................................................

Yeah, baby ;-) Or maybe with him standing under a moody, cloudy sky with rain drops splashing onto his beautifully tanned, muscular shoulders.....LOL!

Love it and hate it, not sure why.

Good point. Nobody likes to look at one macro shot after another of nothing but flowers. "D I don't have any stud muffins handy (sigh) but I am going to make an effort to get as much of something else into my flower comp as possible. Hope bunches of people do the same.

Um, well, I do ;-) Good ones, anyway.

I'm in already, though I reserve the right to change my shot several times a day until they won't let me anymore! Had a subject in mind and got a shot I like, but I'm not sure I love it yet. If it doesn't grow on me (so to speak) it will be ousted in favor of something else. It's not like I don't shoot flowers almost every day even when I have no "reason" to. I just like 'em.

I had inspiration for this last night while drifting off to sleep.
Random thoughts pop into my head & this is a very random one! I hope it will be a fairly unique random idea :D
