Well, I was kinda hoping that some Canadians might chime in as well, but... ;)

And hey, no toques, lumberjacks or maple syrup yet. It hasn't ALL been said!

But...but...Canadian lumberjacks wear RED plaid, and touques, not bandannas!
(not bad, though)

THIS is a toque. (pronounced like "too" with a k on the end}

A few years ago they had Joe Canadian flying cross-country to do his rant in several cities coast to coast on Canada Day and he finished here. They handed out copies of the words and an American couple behind us asked us what a "toke" was. We ended up having quite a nice conversation.
Canadians are a funny bunch...

Fireworks this evening at the lake.....the fog was rolling in and some of the fireworks were obscured. Only in Newfoundland!!

Those look really cool with the fog, Karen :)

The sun hasn't set here yet, still 2 and a half hours until fireworks time, but I'm not going to fight the traffic to go downtown again.

It was another busy Canada Day here in Ottawa.
Spent most my day on the hill or in the pub then got out to the fireworks around 10:00pm to find out my memory card was in my laptop from processing earlier photos... DOH!
