Natives are the only ones allowed to fish the spawning salmon. This man was out with his father, who was using a large net, and his brother who was using a gaff. All three were wading into the icy water on a very chilly day in only their street clothes. When this one had his spear jam into the bottom he didn't hesitate to dip himself shoulder-deep to free it. He simply shed his sodden jacket and kept fishing. BRRRR!!
