This is a side challenge on Flowers, not PP, but it's too hot to breathe outside so here I am in the lazyboy with the fan on. I appologize to anyone who might be put off by my PP. It's one thing to be in the field trying for camera angles, & something entirely different to gaze at my capture looking for a composition. The overlay is a PP of my dog's recent XRays (Piglet is OK, not to worry).

I have to get caught up on comments tomorrow . today was spent dealing with Quickbooks/Intuit fixing my broken database (not good) .. thankfully they got me up and running so I celebrate with this photo!

These flowers are blooming in all the marshy areas right now, in large quantities. And we have a lot of marshy areas here in Canyon Village (in Yellowstone) now, because it's been raining for the last 2 weeks, and that's on top of all the snow-melt. These flowers are globeflowers (I think), trollius laxus. They just kinda look like anemones.

And the one below is not really a flower picture, but I'd never seen a grizzly bear eat dandelions, and this grizzly was eating them with so much gusto that it made me really hungry!
