The woman from our mailroom just came by, doing her afternoon rounds, and stopped to look at the new photos on my cabinet. She complimented me by saying I must have a really good camera. I just accepted the intended compliment and said "thank you".

I usually tell them that's like saying your food at the restaurant was good because the chef had good cookware. |

I can't remember who it was, but there's a great story about a world-famous author meeting a world-famous photographer, and complimenting him by saying "You must have a great camera!"; to which the photographer replied, "And what brand of typewriter do you use?"
I wish I could remember the specifics...
