The original images for this manipulation were taken at one of the many parking garages on UCF's campus. This is the same location where I shot all my previous garage shots as well. It's quite a fun place to have all to yourself in the middle of the night.

This is a combination of two photos. The first was taken with me in the indian style position, the second with me off to the right looking all scary-ish. In photoshop I stacked the photos directly on top of each other (second photo on top). I selected my scary-posed-self from the second shot using the polygon lasso tool then feathered it about 3 pixels and inverted the selection. I then deleted everything else from that second shot except my own body. I then copied this and flipped it horizontally to create the third me. That is essentially how this picture went together. Other effects were a dirty soft focus on the bottom layer, unsharp mask on all layers, and I turned the scary-me's into b/w images and screened them to the main layer to give the ghost look. I really don't think any of that made sense, but I'm just gonna leave it as is. If you have a question, just ask, lol!

This was an idea I had been pondering over for a couple of months now. It didn't go quite as planned, but I am happy with the end result.

The original images were taken with my Canon 10D with a 4 Second shutter @ F16 (ISO100)

Another excellent shot Audio! I love the emotion in this shot, it's so easily connected too. The image is of excellent quality as well, sharp, well saturated, and everything really incorporates into the complete mood of the photo. One of the most appealing things in the photo is the symmetry, and excellent decision to center yourself (haha, the 'indian style' one). The two 'voices' are well done also. Very good!

Keep up the great work Audio, I love all of your stuff!

That's amazing, I really like what you've done there. That's one of my favourite sepia tones.

I like this a lot - the subtle bronze toning works really well.

audio,

MAJOR improvement on the last parking garage photo i saw from you and commented on. you straightend out the lines and kept the geometry semtrical - and did you clean up the debris yourself this time or was the lot just cleaner when you took this shot? Either way, its great to see an improvement like this. You've definately got talent.

And I love what you did with this photo in PS. Great concept and delivery. This looks very professional and quite artistic.

Thanks for sharing it!

Yes, this is indeed an expressive piece. Not that I literally hear voices, however. Each voice represents one of two possible decisions I can make to a current personal dillema. I'm torn between the two choices, and not wanting to face the the decision. ::wonders of that made sense::

Thank you! The symmetry is something I tried hard to improve on over my past Garage shots... I'd had a past problem with that line wondering off to one side, lol.

Thanks!! It's the thought that counds... hehe. I keep the images on my webspace, since I've already paid for that, lol. Very happy to know you enjoyed the photo :-)

Thanks, man!! It was your multi-exposure shots that helped to inspire this idea. So knowing you like this really means a lot, lol!

Thank you! I did indeed take a lot more time with my eye in the viewfinder trying to keep that line dead-center. It was harder than it might seem because that line is actually quite a bit wiggly, lol. There wasn't any trash this time to worry about, but I was prepared to do some clean up after suggestions from my first trip to the garage. Glad you enjoyed the image, Darcy :-)
