I have hit something I find curious...
I got a comment I thought needed development in the demotivational challenge (it didn't make sense to me) so went to the users page to send a PM asking for more thoughts (which I haven't done yet).
This guy has never entered a challenge or put photos in a portfolio (fair enough - ain't no law!) and yet has been favourited twice as a photographer by other users! How?? One the basis of what??
Wierd.
I'm sure there is a simple explanation... |

| Probably someone that is known through something else. I have a couple of favorites of people that I know through Flickr who have joined here but never participated. |

I put my enemies on my Favourite Photographers list to keep an eye on them. I'm hoping that one day DPC will institute an Enemy Photographers list. It would make my life simpler.

I love a mystery.
The two people who have him as a fav, one is a member, the other is a reg user. Both signed up in March 2006. Both are listed as southern California folks. The member guy is still active, the reg user hasn't been active for a while.
Your mysterious commentator registered in April 2006.
My guess is that they are all pals. The member guy still likes photography. The reg user guy, not so much; not active.
The mystery commentator maybe not an active photographer (after all the site (the members) can be intimidating), but still likes to look at the images and comment every so often.
Well Watson, that's my hypothesis.
Later
Looking at the mystery guys first comment, he makes a personal comment to the member guys pic. So I would say they're friends.
(I must have too much time on my hands, BUT I do love a mystery...)

when was he fav'd? if he has entries in the current challenge, it doesn't list them, but does it list the favs?
Could he have submitted and the unsubmitted the photos?
Could it be that he has imaginary photos and people favd those? |

The bottom line is, I think three friends joined at about the same time. I'm sure they just fav'd each other.
