Ok - I know it's slightly early - but different time zones you know ?

Anyway, just to reiterate the rules . . there are none really

people can commit as much or as little time as they feel possible.

You can use old shots / new shots
Black and white / Black and colour
 Layers
 Single shot / Dyptich

Your background can be - cut out, painted out, processed out, or taken without . . . so long as it's black ( or certainly black'ish )
Whatever works for you :- )

So far the following have expressed an interest in joining in - but all are welcome.

I was once told this would be too "dark" for DPChallenge. Still it got two comments. I think it is one of my best. |

Here's a shot that has been out of circulation for a while. I will be looking for situations and subjects that I can shoot specific to this S C this month.

EDIT: Per request... I shot this at an aquarium, but the water background was pretty dark already. I darkened it in PP to "black it out".

I would love to join this side challenge - won't be able to enter every day, but I will join in when I can.

Here is one - I was contemplating putting it in the Free Study, but I think it has too shallow of a depth of field so I chose a different photo for the Free Study. I hope I made a good choice!

PM sent. Normally one image a day - across June - no judging, just comments and sharing. |

Here's my first image hot off the press:

I am going to try to submit a mixture of new shots and older perhaps reworked shots for this side challenge.
That's the intention remains to be seen if it happens! :)
