A couple of people at work suggested that my miniature shot was either a composite or I used a picture of myself. That said it finished 12th so am pleased with its final placing.

As you can see this was a large crop as I had to use the 15mm fisheye to try and get the dof. Shooting wasn't as easy as first thought as I had to set myself up in front of the camera flash in 1 hand magnifying glass in the other then turn the lights off and trip the shutter on bulb. A single flash from behind the cam then crawl on the floor (remember its dark) and position myself roughly where I think I should be - strike the pose then flash again.

Editing was little more than a slight rotation, levels/curves convert to B&W then NI/USM resized, another run of NI then USM.

Thanks for sharing. Very creative. I thought it might be a Pepper's Ghost type of set up.
