Yippeee! A Yappeee!

And Tom is so deserving of this! I don't know what the requirements are for it... but I'm POSITIVE he's met them. *grin*

His comments are spot on... verbose... interesting... and fun.

Good stuff there!

He's great and knows his photography. One might take into notice that he occasionally does manufacture his comments by copy and pasting the same comment on numerous photographs, but when I think about it, I can't gripe about it. Its a mechanistic way to comment which can take away some of the humility and heart of the comment, but still very logical and satisfying.

Yeah what he said but in a British accent

Cool! Well deserved.

Does this mean Team suck is back in business? There haven't been any oobies handed out for a while.

As another recipient of Tom's insightful comments, I'll add my congratulations on this well deserved Yappie to the record.

Ha..I guess you agree? It's all good, I understand, I type 100 words per minute, if I didn't, I'd do the same as he does.

Well deserved...I've received nothing but well thought out comments by the guy on every pic and looking around I'm certainly not the only one...

One might take into What he said but in a Scottish accent but still very logical notice that he (Diplomatically stated.) occasionally does manufacture hail Teafran! his comments by copy and pasting for extraordinary contributions in commenting on DPC the same comment on numerous photographs, but when I think about it, I can't gripe about it. Its a mechanistic man's shot for NG way to comment which can take away some of the humility with useful, helpful comments, and heart of the comment, and satisfying.

Can you say that again, only in a contrived German accent with bulging eyes, a lá John Banner?

Relative to cut & paste commentary, here's mine from my Free Study:

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an interesting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.

I didn't search out his comments on others' entries, but even if the comment is canned, I'm quite okay with its application to my image, and quite appreciate it.

Edited for cross-eyed, early morning vision....

All hail! :)

This is getting embarrassing.

I really appreciate all the kind comments. And I'm always up for a little fun and friendly japes - thank you guys - everyone.

This is a great place to hang out on the less than good days and I'm enjoying the heck out of it.

Anytime anyone is near my place, stop by or even better yet, pick a day and we'll go fishing.

Thanks again.

Later,

Tom

Next time I visit CT again I will take you up on the fishing. Grew up in South CT for 27 years but in CA now. I see your not to far from amish country...could be some good photos taken there not to mention the homemade cookies.

You don't wanna go fishing with me. Been trying to catch some Northern Pikes for a few years now. Caught two. Point is, thank you for your comments. They are very much apreciated!!
